How to use Sign PDF

Upload a PDF and draw your signature
Drop a PDF, then draw your signature on the pad with mouse, touch, or stylus.

Position the signature on the preview
The signature appears as a dashed-blue box on the live page preview. Drag it to your desired position; drag the corner to resize.

Apply and download
Click “Apply signature & download” — the signed PDF saves to your device as <name>_signed_nutoolz.pdf.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a legally-binding electronic signature?
This is a visible signature overlay — the same legal weight as a hand-drawn signature on a printed page. It is NOT a cryptographic PAdES signature yet (that's on the roadmap). For high-value contracts, use a service that offers PAdES signing with a real certificate.
Where is my signature stored?
Nowhere persistent — it lives only in the current browser tab. Refresh the page and you'll need to redraw. Persistent signature storage is on the roadmap.
Can I sign every page at once?
Yes. Choose “All pages” for the scope, position the signature on the live preview, then click Apply. The signature is stamped at the same coordinates on every page.
Can I add a date next to the signature?
Yes. Toggle “Include a date next to the signature” and an amber-dashed draggable box appears alongside the signature. Drag it where you want, type any date format you like (defaults to today's date in your locale).
Are my PDF or signature uploaded?
Neither. The PDF is parsed by pdf-lib in your browser, the signature is captured on a local canvas, and the merged result is generated entirely in your browser.
