What is Rotate PDF?

nutoolz Rotate PDF rotates individual pages or the entire document by 90°, 180°, or 270° clockwise. Rotations accumulate, so applying 90° twice rotates the page 180°. Used for fixing scanned pages, sideways photos, or landscape pages mixed into a portrait document.

Frequently asked questions

Can I rotate only some pages?

Yes. Choose “Specific pages” and enter a range like “2-3, 5”. Only those pages are rotated; the rest stay as they are.

Do rotations stack?

Yes. If a page is already at 90°, applying another 90° rotates it to 180°. This way you can correct any starting orientation.

Is the rotation lossless?

Yes. pdf-lib sets the page's `/Rotate` attribute rather than re-rendering content. Text remains selectable and images keep their original resolution.

Does this upload my PDF anywhere?

No. The entire rotation runs in your browser. Your files are never uploaded.

Why is the page rotated clockwise, not counter-clockwise?

Clockwise is the PDF specification's standard. For counter-clockwise, use 270° (which is the same as -90°).
