What is Merge PDFs?
nutoolz Merge PDF is a free, browser-based tool that joins two or more PDF files into a single PDF in the order you choose. Every page is preserved exactly — text, fonts, images, and structure. Processing runs entirely on your device using pdf-lib, so your files are never uploaded to any server.

Frequently asked questions
Is this PDF merger really free?
Yes. There are no usage limits, no watermarks, no premium upsell, and no signup required. The tool is free to use as often as you like.
Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?
No. The entire merge runs in your browser using JavaScript and pdf-lib. Your files never leave your device. You can verify this by opening DevTools → Network and confirming no PDF bytes are sent to any server.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
There is no hard limit. Performance depends on your device's memory. Typical desktops handle 50+ PDFs of 10 MB each without issue.
Can I reorder the PDFs before merging?
Yes. Files appear in the order you add them, and you can remove individual files from the list. For reordering pages WITHIN a merged file afterwards, use the Reorder Pages tool.
Does this work on mobile?
Yes. The tool is responsive and works in mobile browsers. For very large files, desktop is recommended due to memory constraints on mobile devices.
