Frequently asked questions
Which image formats are supported?
PNG and JPEG. Other formats (WebP, HEIC, GIF) are not yet supported — convert them to PNG or JPEG first.
Will the images be re-compressed?
No. The PNG and JPEG bytes are embedded as-is into the PDF, so image quality is preserved exactly.
How is the page size determined?
Each page is sized to match its source image's pixel dimensions. If you need a uniform page size, use a separate tool to resize the images first.
Is there a limit on the number of images?
No hard limit. Performance depends on your device — typical desktops handle 100+ images without issue.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is built entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Your images never leave your device.
